The Lovett Memorial Library is dedicated to meeting the information needs of its service population. The library’s primary mission is to enrich the lives of its citizens by providing educational, recreational, and cultural opportunities through its variety of resources including books, movies, on-line databases, computer instruction, and more.

The library is open year-round except for all major holidays. Normal business hours are from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The physical library includes an upstairs area with comfortable seating and study tables. The downstairs facilities include the auditorium, the Texas Room, public restrooms, study tables, a children’s area, and public access computers.
Lovett Memorial Library belongs to Harrington Library Consortium. The consortium provides Lovett Memorial Library patrons with greater resources, particularly in the area of digital on-line resources.
