Carson County Library's main library is located in Panhandle with branch libraries in Groom, Skellytown and White Deer. Our facilities feature spacious surroundings creating an atmosphere conducive to reading, relaxation and reflection. Each branch offers reading areas and computers for public use. Also available to the public are copies, faxes and scanners. Click on the link above to visit the branch site that you choose.

We are a member of the Harrington Library Consortium which provides our patrons with resources found in much larger library systems. We provide an inter-library loan service to patrons to order and borrow books that we may not have in our library.

Using Your Library is Fun and Easy!

Did you know that Library cards are free to residents of Carson County?  You must have proof of address so bring your driver's license.  If  you are under the age of 18 a parent's signature is required.
