How to E-Book!

E-Book Information

As our patrons purchase, or receive as a gift, eReaders such as the iPad, Kindle, Nook, etc., they are looking to their libraries for eBooks. Through the Harrington Library Consortium, HLC member libraries, throughout the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles, are able to provide a large, and still growing, selection of eBooks for patrons of all ages.  HLC provides this service through its partnerships with 3M, a leader in digital distribution. If you have ANY questions, please do not hesitate to call or come in. Also, there are tutorials for most devices at the bottom of this page. . .

All Library card-holders have access to these online virtual library’s which are available at your finger-tips both within the Library and remote locations, such as your home, school, or work place.

This is what you will need, if you need help, when you come in:

  • A digital device: your phone, tablet, kindle, ipad, etc…
  • Your Library card number and PIN

* All devices are a little different, we are always more than happy to help you to get your device e-book ready, sometimes it does take a bit longer for us to understand your device. 🙂
