Library Cards Did you know that Library cards are free to residents of Sherman County? You must have proof of address so bring your driver's license, electric bill, or water bill. If you are under the age of 18 a parent's signature is required. Your Sherman County Library card can be used at dozens of libraries around the Texas Panhandle. This service is made possible through agreements among members of the Harrington Library Consortium. If you don't see a title you want on our shelves, no problem! Sherman County Library participates in the area's Interlibrary Loan Program. This means we may borrow the item you want from another library at no charge to you! If you need help taking a test we have that also. If you are a teacher or home schooler you may find Tumblebooks, our database of animated kids books, helpful.
